Beach bans humans from having sex in Spain

One of the great things about traveling is that you can do whatever you want while you’re away from home. No rules, no restrictions, and sometimes, no explanations, either. If you’re unhappy with what the locals are doing in the cafes and restaurants, fine. Don’t be one of those tourists who tell them, why are you doing this when you could just sit in your nice hotel and eat breakfast?

Not anymore, thanks to some meddling Spaniards.

Tourists engaging in carnal (that’s yummy, not anal) fun has led to an almost total shutdown of a beach in southern Spain, according to the Daily Mail. The Rajahada beach in Bayella del Mar is being turned into a sex club complete with strippers, clubs and bars, after beach bars, cafes and restaurants closed down.

The owners of Bayella said that they have asked tourists to refrain from having sex or performing topless. “We’ve received a number of requests from day-trippers to ban these activities so have decided to restrict access to the beach,” a spokeswoman for the area told the Mail. “It’s a very small area and anything could happen, so we need to respect that.”

But despite the uproar, there hasn’t been any violence or sexual harassment of locals. However, Bayella residents are now hoping that the tourists will dress up and stay home, as it would be better for everyone involved.
