Break the Floor says Travis Wall has been removed from the company following #MeToo report

Break the Floor, the dance company with which Travis Wall is also a co-founder, announced Thursday that Travis will not be joining the group on tour in the wake of Monday’s Time’s Up #MeToo report in which women accused Travis of sexual misconduct. After being named in the piece, Travis’ publicist called the women’s claims “false” and filed a defamation suit against the magazine, though Travis has now said he’s leaving Break the Floor.

BREAKING NEWS – Travis Wall, co-founder of @breakthardance, has been removed from the company. The male dancers have not asked Travis to leave, but Break the Floor is the recipient of funding from leading foundations and has strong moral standing. The dancers intend to continue fulfilling all contractual obligations and are committed to keeping the company “operating the same way it has for 26 years” and “not changing company policy to allow such inappropriate conduct in the future.”
